Alan Cook wrote: Bako is about 75 miles southwest of Arba Minch. Bako and Jinka are very close together and are (were) usually referred to together. Bako is the traditional mountain town while Jinka was developed in the valley to install a landing strip and is now the larger of the two villages. We were actually stationed in Jinka. MORE
