Special viewing of the Abyssinia Expedition Collection at the FIELD MUSEUM

The general admission charge for the museum is $10. There is no additional charge for our special viewing.

There will be a sign in the lobby instructing us where to go.

This historic collection from the museum's Abyssinian Expedition of 1926–27 includes 113 original pencil and watercolor zoological field studies by famed ornithological painter Louis Agassiz Fuertes, the C.S. Cutting film of the expedition, and other materials.

Buffet that will include at least six different meat and vegetable dishes and salad, and includes a soft drink (Coke, Diet Coke, or Sprite). Beer and wine and other drinks will be available from the cash bar. The menu will include doro wett, kye wett, ciga alecha, messir or kik wett, etc., plus injera.

Live Afro-jazz, recorded Ethiopian music, dancing possible!
